Background

Viastein (founded in December 2006) set out to produce premium paving solutions for public spaces — streets, sidewalks, squares, alleys — and for residential outdoor areas such as driveways, gardens and courtyards. The product portfolio covers concrete pavers, slabs, curbs, drainage elements and accessories, in a wide range of dimensions, textures and colors. The existing digital presence and print materials were product‑rich but visually fragmented, so the task was to build a clean, recognisable Viastein branding that could travel across catalog, website and sales documents.

Objectives

  • Highlight Viastein as a premium Romanian manufacturer (not just a paver reseller).
  • Create a visual system that can cover the large Viastein product families: Artline, Avangard, Via Natura, Via Mix, Modulo, Novum, curbs, drainage, stairs.
  • Make the website and portfolio images look consistent with the printed price/catalog PDF Viastein already distributes.
  • Keep the layout ready for multilingual and distributor‑level pages.

Visual approach

We built Viastein paving branding around three ideas: modular outdoor patterns, high‑contrast labels, and neutral backgrounds to let product colors shine.

  1. Modular patterns: inspired by paver grids and multiformat modules (20×10, 24×12, 40×40, 70×35) that Viastein sells, we used a card/grid layout on web and print to preview products and their dimensions.
  2. High‑contrast labels: since many Viastein products come in natural/stone/sand palettes, headings and CTAs needed to stay legible on warm photography.
  3. Neutral backgrounds: light greys and warm off‑whites help premium colors like antracit, basalt, polaris, sahara pop without heavy retouch.

Identity & logo usage

  • Clear, horizontal Viastein logotype with ample safe‑area for use on catalog covers, price lists and outdoor photography.
  • Monochrome and inverted versions for engraving on technical documents, downloadable certificates and performance declarations (all available on Viastein’s website).
  • Lockups that include location (Chichiș, Covasna) for corporate materials.

Print & sales materials

We designed template pages for product sheets, sales offers and seasonal campaigns. They carry the Viastein branding on top, product photography in the middle and technical specs (dimensions, thickness, palette) in an aligned, easy‑to‑scan column below — a structure that mirrors their 2022 PDF price catalog but is cleaner and easier to update.

Webdesign

The portfolio page was structured like the product taxonomy on viastein.ro (pavers, slabs, curbs, drainage, accessories) so visitors can map the agency work to real products. We added room for project photos and references, since Viastein often showcases real built spaces (public and residential) alongside catalogue images. Contact and showroom information (Chichiș factory, Biharkeresztes HU factory, regional reps) are surfaced to reduce friction for B2B buyers.

Result

The result is a coherent Viastein paving branding that:

  • reinforces Viastein as a 2006‑founded, premium outdoor manufacturer,
  • keeps product‑heavy materials (catalog, price list, technical docs) visually aligned,
  • and makes the web portfolio consistent with what distributors and customers see in PDF/print.
