The brief

Mawarid Foodstuff Industry is a UAE‑based olive‑oil producer and private‑label supplier. They asked us to create a modern, export‑ready identity that communicates quality, authenticity and hygiene at scale. The system had to balance Middle‑Eastern heritage with a clean international look that works equally well on packaging, B2B collateral and apparel.

Our approach

We started with a brand audit and visual benchmarking across premium olive‑oil and broader gourmet categories. From there, we defined three pillars for the identity: purity, provenance, and precision. These informed all design decisions—from symbol construction and typography to color and application rules.

Logo & symbol

  • A geometric olive‑drop becomes the core brand signifier.
  • The wordmark is crafted for high legibility at small sizes and consistent reproduction across print, PET, tin and fabric.
  • A compact monogram variant supports space‑constrained use (caps, labels, favicons).

Color & typography

  • Primary palette: deep grove green, complemented with warm metallic accents for premium cues.
  • Secondary neutrals: off‑white and charcoal for clarity in documents and web.
  • Typeface pairing emphasizes clear Latin forms with strong rhythm; generous tracking and optical kerning ensure crisp rendering on packaging and embroidery.

Stationery & business essentials

We designed a complete stationery set—business cards, letterheads, and presentation folders—with consistent margins, grid, and foil/spot‑UV options for special runs. Print specs are captured in the brand book (paper stocks, color builds, finishing notes) to streamline vendor hand‑off.

Brand book & governance

The brand book (≈36–48 pages) documents usage: logo clear space, minimum sizes, color formulas (CMYK, Pantone, RGB, HEX), type scales, photography direction, iconography, and do/don’t examples. It includes ready‑to‑use templates for proposals, invoices and email signatures, plus apparel placements (front chest monogram, back wordmark).

Applications & mockups

  • Packaging touchpoints: PET/glass bottles and tins, using the primary palette and large‑scale symbol for shelf recognition.
  • Apparel: T‑shirt and cap mockups with heat‑transfer or embroidery guidelines.
  • Digital: Social profile kit and web hero treatments to keep the brand consistent on owned media.

Mawarid Foodstuff Industry branding outcome

The result is a robust identity system that elevates Mawarid’s premium positioning and scales from factory floor to international retail. The design is pragmatic (vendor‑friendly specs, clear rules) yet expressive (ownable symbol, refined palette), enabling fast roll‑out across packaging and corporate materials.
